Sun Shines
Sun Shines
Once again sun sets
Once again earth gets
Melting from its sandalwood tub
Rays for everyone to rub
But the wings of mind are white
And wish to take off your vibgyor a bite
Skies of my eyes are no more storming
Vines of smiles are forming
Over the soil of my face they loom
Because of the vigour from your rays they bloom
Having daubed in your colours
My body-brush is rolling
Along with the turtle-clouds
And dancing with squirrel-waves
I am an artist-painter
It's colours that I seek
Why don't you rise every morning?
Melt and into me seep
O Sun! You are the umbilical cord of my birth
The bedrock of my earth
For what else is life this?
Other than spending it in bliss
And some gardens to plant
And spread their fragrance
Even if thorns in the way come
Their sting I welcome
Let me bleed away
And a rose become
Days after this pain
A sweet pain will remain
